Varsity Football Faces Possibility for Playoffs

The Eagles Football team brought their overall record to 4-2 last Friday nearly missing a win over Norwalk High School.  The Eagles lost 14-20 to the Lancers last Friday, bringing them to 1-1 in league.  But the fight for the Eagles is not over yet.  If they can pull out a victory tonight over Artesia

JG Homecoming Victory Over Cerritos 64-25

The Eagles played an amazing game against Cerritos for Homecoming.  Multiple rushing touchdowns, interceptions, and all-around team effort led to a 64-25 victory over the Dons and a 4-1 season record for the Eagles.

JG Football 33 Hoover 20

Final score of the JG vs. Hoover varsity football game on Friday was 33-20, naming the Eagles as the victors.  The Eagles will go on to face Cerritos this week at home for the Homecoming Game.

Football Dominates Don Bosco Tech 41-0

The Eagles took on Don Bosco Tech Friday night, coming out victorious with a 41-0 win. QB David Sanchez connected with Tim Stevenson for a 47 yard TD pass in the 1st quarter of the game.  Carlos Pulido contributed  2 yard TD run in the 1st quarter.  William Keith contributed an interception.  QB Damian Huxtable threw

Varsity Football Pummels Magnolia 33-0

The Eagles Varsity football team traveled to Magnolia High School on Friday for a preseason match-up.  But the Sentinels were no match for the Eagles, taking a 33-0 shut-out.  

Varsity Football Victorious Over Cerritos 39-7

Friday night the Eagles picked up their first league win over the Dons.  The Varsity football team’s hard work and tenacity paid off in an upset with a score of 39-7 to finish their season.

FS Football Defeated by La Mirada

Frosh football left their home field without a victory yesterday.  The Eagles lost to La Mirada 46-7, scoring a touchdown on a pass play in the second half. They face Mayfair High School next week.  

Varsity Football Battles With Bellflower

The Eagles took a tough loss to Bellflower at home 29-36.  The game was close and the Eagles fought hard, but were not able to pull out the win.  Female kicker, Karely Perez was able to put her first points on the field through the uprights for an extra point conversion for the Eagles. The

Girls Can Play Too

  Junior Karely Perez proved that girls can play football too by making the Varsity team as a Field Goal Kicker for the Eagles. Karely is a Varsity Girls Soccer athlete that wanted to try a new challenge.  She joined the team this fall during the start of preseason, having suited up on the sidelines,
